The monolithic design of PURE impresses with its clean and uncompromising style. The integrated solid wood table and stainless steel revolving herbs storage unit are not only functional elements, they allow PURE's surface materials to come alive – particularly in this combination with concrete.

CONCRETE KITCHEN

PURE can be manufactured using concrete with a thickness of just 8 mm. Concrete is heat-resistant and safe to prepare food, a surface made for kitchens. An extraordinary amount of time and expertise were invested into working with this unusual material: getting from the initial idea through to production took more than a year. Our Austrian partner STEININGER developed a procedure which allowed the concrete to be made so thin that it was light enough but not brittle, and maintain its interesting surface texture with its fine cracks and pitting.
